One of the pearls of Albania’s natural mosaic that has begun to be explored by local and foreign tourists is Sotira waterfall, one of the most unique in Albania, located at the northeast foot of Mt. Tomorri about 60 km. from Tirana and 16 km from Gramshi town. To get there one has to drive on an unpaved road to Sotire village, and then hike for about 1/2 hour (3.6 km) on an easy trail to the waterfall. The stunning natural beauties of this lately-discovered waterfall are attracting Albanian and foreign visitors to the village, reviving the atmosphere of it and enjoying the panorama of Sotira waterfall, that is untouched by the human hand.
