South of Albania


Day 1 
Tirana - Elbasan - Perrenjas - Korce

Our trip starts from Tirana driving  towards and through  Perrenjas Highlands to the Albanian part of The Ohrid Lake. It will be a long trip through forests and long forgotten tracks. We will enjoy beautiful views of different landscapes and cities . In the evening will arrive in Korca where we will grab some cold regional beer and taste the regional food. Overnight in one of the hotels in the city.


Day 2 
Korce - Berat - Permet 

It will be a very interesting day. We will drive through  two mountains which hold an important place in Albanian history and have a strong role in Albanian economy as well . The vies are breath taking during the whole trip down to Permet, “The city of rosses “ where we will enjoy the regional food and rest. Opportunity to visit the thermal waters of Benja.


Day 3 

We will visit one of most important churches of the country. Later on we will visit The Natural Park “ Bredhi I Hatoves “. It is a very interesting park , due to the fact that except Finland, this is the only place on the planet  where this kind of spruces continue to exist. We will enjoy a traditional dinner next to the Kelcyra gorge which offers a great panorama . 


Day 4 
Permet - Gjirokaster - Vlore

We will again travel  through one of the wildest highlands of the Balkan Peninsula . Our drive will take us to  two different ridges, Trebeshine –Dhembel Nemercke and Lunxheri-Bureto. We will finally rest next to the Ionian sea, where sea cuisine and other traditional food will mark the ending of the day.


Day 5 
This will generally be a calm day. We will drive on soft road and explore different virgin unexplored beaches on The Albanian Riviera  including Karavasta and Narta lagoon  to finally get on road and move back to Tirana.
